Stephen was born in the small town of Seminole, Florida and went to Seminole High School. He attended Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Affairs. Stephen chose to attend FSU for law school as well.
While completing his studies, Stephen interned with the Florida Department of Agriculture’s General Counsel’s Office in Tallahassee, with Becker & Poliakoff’s Government Affairs Office in Tallahassee, with Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05) in Washington, D.C., and with Nelson Mullins Broad & Cassel in Tallahassee. At Nelson Mullins, Stephen researched, prepared memoranda, and drafted trial and appellate court documents for attorneys in a range of practice areas including Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Maritime Law. In 2019, Stephen graduated from FSU Law cum laude and received his Juris Doctor.
In 2019, Stephen joined Daniel W. Uhlfelder, P.A. After passing the Florida Bar, he became an associate attorney, focusing on Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Estate Planning and Probate Administration, Local and County Administrative Law, and Real Estate Law.
